June 23, 2011: Robert (Bob) Cvetic and Cheryl Warner, from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Office of Human Resources Management , joined the Feds Feed Families Hall of Fame. Together, they contributed over 600 pounds in the first month of the campaign. Bob is the CBP Feds Feed Families Champion. Every year, CBP collects more than all of the other DHS Components combined, thanks largely to the efforts of Bob. He creates his own graphics, hold kick-off campaigns, and has developed a Sharepoint system for field offices to report their collections. Last year, CBP collected over 170,000 pounds of non-perishable food (of the 220,000 total for DHS). This year, CBP’s goal is 200,000 pounds (of the 300,000 goal for all of DHS). Bob has challenged all of the other DHS Component Feds Feed Families Champions to match his contribution of over 300 pounds and has challenged all other DHS Components to match the CBP goal of 200,000 pounds.
