I must admit I was very skeptical when volunteered for representing the Armed Forces Retirement Home in the Feds Feed Families Food Drive back in June. Thanks to an extremely supportive staff and the generosity of all those who contributed the program my skepticism was quickly washed away.

Milwaukee ODAR participated in a food drive for the Hunger Task Force. This food drive was organized by HUD and several other federal agencies participated including SSA. The food was collected yesterday. An unofficial weigh-in of Milwaukee ODAR’s donation showed that we collected 250 pounds of food, which will go to help over 60 shelters and 21 food pantries...
