The Central Plains Region of the National Archives and Records Administration in Kansas City collected ~ 238 pounds of non-perishable food items for Harvesters Food Bank over a two-week period. That's enough food to provide 182 meals!

I must admit I was very skeptical when volunteered for representing the Armed Forces Retirement Home in the Feds Feed Families Food Drive back in June. Thanks to an extremely supportive staff and the generosity of all those who contributed the program my skepticism was quickly washed away.

Milwaukee ODAR participated in a food drive for the Hunger Task Force. This food drive was organized by HUD and several other federal agencies participated including SSA.
